Michael Scott (singer, songwriter, and musician). Born and raised in Seattle, Michael became a fan of Rock and Roll and Country music and started taking guitar lessons in my teenage years. Playing in groups for live audiences evolved into opportunities to play with different bands around the Puget Sound area over the years. I have enjoyed playing in multiple bands, the camaraderie of my friends, equipment, different instruments, and singing lead and backup vocals. For the last few years, I have focused on playing acoustic guitar and singing acoustic versions of a mix of rock, country, pop, and folk songs as a “one-man show”. Music is part of our culture; it brings people together and connects us all with experiences and memories of the past, and the present, and helps us envision and shape the future.
